Menghu Lake is located in Dianxia Town, Zhangshu City, about 18 kilometers from downtown Zhangshu. Nestled among a ring of mountains including Lingyun Peak, Qiansiqiu, and Taiji Peak, the lake boasts azure waters stretching far into the misty distance, resembling a natural ink painting. With its exceptionally beautiful ecological environment, it is hailed as a “fantastic dreamland of mountains and waters, a paradise of dreams.”

Dianxia Town: Located in the southeastern part of Zhangshu City, Dianxia Town borders Fengcheng to the east and neighbors Xingan to the south. It gathers the scenic beauty of all three areas, and the picturesque Menghu Lake adds even more charm to the town. The Beijing-Kowloon Railway and National Highway 105, along with Zhang-Dian Road, run through the area, while a network of cement roads within the town forms a fast and convenient transportation system. Dianxia Town covers a total area of 140 square kilometers, with a population of 19,000, including 17,000 agricultural residents. It has 31,000 mu of arable land, 90,000 mu of forested land, and a forest coverage rate of over 65%, the highest among all towns in Zhangshu City.
