Guanlan Pavilion

Guanlan Pavilion is a cultural tourism attraction.

Guanlan Pavilion is located in Dongbian Village, Xujia Du, 32 kilometers west of the city, about 100 meters south of National Highway 320. Constructed in the 21st year of the Jiaqing reign during the Qing Dynasty (1816), it is built from brick and stone. This three-tiered, double-eaved pavilion features an octagonal layout, stands 23.3 meters high, has a diameter of 7.55 meters, and walls 1.51 meters thick. The base level features a horizontal stone plaque inscribed with the three running-script characters “Guanlan Pavilion” (Contemplating the Waves Pavilion), with bold strokes. On the right side is the inscription indicating the year and month of the tower’s construction. It was designated as a county-level cultural relics protection unit on August 29, 1983, and as a provincial-level cultural relics protection unit in 1994. Potential development projects include upgrading the Guanlan Pavilion scenic area, constructing shopping and leisure facilities, photography studios, perimeter walls, and more.
