The countdown to New Taipei’s Christmas concert is on — see “Sister” without waiting for New Year’s Eve!

As cross-year concerts in northern, central, and southern Taiwan battle for audiences, New Taipei City is taking the lead with the “Joyful Night Christmas Concert.” With a lineup that surpasses that of New Year’s concerts and a scale comparable to that of Taipei Arena, the concerts on December 7, 8, 21, and 22 will be headlined by Xie Jinyan, JJ Lin, Jolin Tsai, and Show Lo, making it one of the most star-studded concert series in Taiwan’s history. The first concert on December 7th will kick off with a relay of female singer-songwriters, heralding the start of the Joyful Night Christmas Concert. The highly anticipated finale by “Sister” Xie Jinyan will deliver a show-stopping performance. Notably, the details of Xie Jinyan’s four songs, costumes, and performance content remain top secret, sparking widespread speculation. Also performing that day are the bright-voiced Xu Jialing, the powerful Li Jiawei, the operatic Jiang Meiqi, the distinctive Wei Ruoxuan, the creative Afu, and the ethereal newcomer Bai An, promising a concert full of both quality and energy. The second concert will be led by ballad prince JJ Lin, joined by steel-hearted Yan Jue, bringing the Taipei Arena concert experience outdoors with dynamic dance moves. Other male performers include rising stars Xiao Yu, Fang Jiongbin, and Wei Li’an, as well as the lively Free Style duo, the must-see Chen Shian, all taking turns to entertain.
