The predecessor of Yibin Zaobaijian Tea was a brand launched by the “Yibin Tea Factory” in the late 1970s. It was not registered at that time but was later trademarked by someone from ** Gao County in 2005. It has never been an imperial tribute tea. As for its connection to dragons, it depends on how you interpret it—but all tea makers are descendants of the dragon.

Zaobaijian Green Tea is meticulously crafted from the fresh leaves of the nationally recognized high-quality Zaobaijian tea tree variety, notable for its particularly early market availability. It has been awarded the title of Famous Tea at both provincial and municipal levels multiple times, earning widespread praise within the tea industry.

The dry leaves are tightly rolled, slender, straight, and covered with abundant white pekoe. The infusion offers a fragrant, elegant aroma, crystal-clear emerald green liquor, a fresh and mellow taste, and tender, even, bright green leaves.

Before the Qingming Festival, tea trees begin to sprout. The newly emerged tender buds are "white" in color and pointed in shape, hence the name "Zaobaijian" (literally "Early White Tip").
