Shanggao County Museum

The Shanggao County Museum is located at No. 29 Heping Road, Shanggao County. The museum currently houses a collection of 2,234 items (including 199 modern revolutionary relics and 2,035 historical relics), with 3 first-grade relics, 31 second-grade relics, and 313 third-grade relics. Among them, relics from the Shizi'ao site prove that humans inhabited Shanggao over 4,000 years ago; relics from Tang Dynasty porcelain sites indicate that ceramic production in Shanggao was already advanced at the time; and relics from the Mengshan Silver Mine site are of great value for studying the development of ancient mining and metallurgy in China.
