Pingxiang Lotus Expo Garden

The Pingxiang Lotus Expo Garden is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

The Lotus Expo Garden is located in Lianhua Village, Lianhua County, covering an area of approximately 5,000 acres. It is the largest contiguous lotus cultivation area and the most diverse lotus-themed scenic spot in China.

The garden is divided into eight functional zones: the lotus viewing area, outdoor camping area, leisure area, resort area, cultivation area, farming experience area, future development area, and entrance service area. The cultivated varieties belong to three systems: flower lotus, seed lotus, and rhizome lotus.

Most of the park is open for free viewing, while the resort area offers paid access and accommodations. The viewing layout is three-dimensional, divided into three levels: on the water, in the water, and underwater. The Lotus Expo Garden has successfully been designated as a national 4A-level scenic spot. It is a major project in building Lianhua County as the "backyard garden" of Pingxiang, playing a significant role in boosting the tourism industry and the lotus industry.

Currently, the lotus expo park has built farm stays and a three-star hotel, and a leisure beach and water-friendly areas have been established at the Lianjiang Wetland. The premium lotus pond cultural landscape, designed around the theme “One flower, one world; one leaf, one Buddha,” features 366 separate plots planted with 376 varieties of lotus. It is now fully open to the public.
