Kicking off the summer season – The Baihe Lotus Festival kicks off for 5 days

The annual Baihe Lotus Festival will commence on the 5th, this year“Splendor of Summer Lotus”as its theme, symbolizing how the lotuses spread across Baihe are heralding the start of summer. This year also emphasizes community integration, hoping that in addition to admiring the flowers, visitors can experience the cultural charm of the “Lotus Village” as they explore.

Although this year has been affected by cold fronts, there are 50 hectares fewer lotuses than last year, and they have bloomed two weeks later. However, with the opening of the Lotus Festival, the lotuses will bloom one by one along with the arrival of summer. First-time visitors need not worry — the organizers have prepared four recommended routes, includingthe Red Flower Appreciation Route, Green Ecological Route, Blue Pingpu Route, and Brown Hot Spring Routeso that visitors can choose a route based on their preferences to explore Baihe.

Additionally,the Lotus Viewing Boulevard, Linchupi, and Zhumen Green Tunnelare all great spots for lotus appreciation. Come to Baihe to admire the lotuses and enjoy the summer breeze — let it kick off your summer season in style.
