The Ningdu Ganjiangyuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction and a national water conservancy scenic area.
The Ningdu Ganjiangyuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Ningdu County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. Built around the large-scale Tuanjie Reservoir project, it is a reservoir-type water conservancy scenic area. The scenic area spans 60 square kilometers, with water bodies covering 11.25 square kilometers. The Tuanjie Reservoir water control project is a key facility at the source of the Ganjiang River, serving comprehensive functions such as flood control, power generation, and irrigation. The water conservancy structures in the scenic area are majestic, with the dam’s outflow roaring powerfully and impressively. The reservoir area boasts excellent water quality, with picturesque landscapes of mountains and water that vary by season—crystal-clear waves in winter and spring create a painting-like scenery, fully showcasing the charm of the southern water town.
