The historic water town “Tatsuta” will also host a “bridal boat” event. According to local custom, brides ride traditional wooden boats, or “roku-bune,” to their new homes. Spectators along the riverbanks offer their blessings, reflecting the region’s age-old traditions. Visitors can enjoy the unique spectacle of the bride crossing the river.
