Shicheng Jinhua Mountain
Jinhua Mountain is about 20 kilometers from the county town. From afar, its golden summit towers into the sky; up close, it appears majestic and vigorous. With an elevation of 1314 meters, it forms the high mountain range in the northeast of Shicheng together with Donghua Mountain. Legend has it that the mountain was jointly created by the three celestial stars of Fortune, Prosperity, and Longevity, and prayers made here are said to be efficacious. A Taoist temple was established here as early as the Tang Dynasty to spread teachings. The thousand-year-old ancient temple still stands atop the mountain, exuding a sense of antiquity and enduring charm. Despite the rugged mountains, steep slopes, and high altitude, visitors flock here to camp and watch the sunrise and sunset, as well as to enter the temple for worship and prayer.
