The Qingshi Qinqjiang Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.
The Qingshi Qinqjiang Water Conservancy Scenic Area is located in Qinqjiang Town, Shicheng County, Ganzhou City. It is built around the Qinqjiang River, the Qianjiang River flood control project, and Nanjing Reservoir, and is classified as an urban river-lake type water conservancy scenic area. The planned total area of the scenic zone is 48.97 square kilometers, including 1.82 square kilometers of water area.
The Qingshi Qinqjiang Water Conservancy Scenic Area includes the Qinqjiang River section within Shicheng County, the Tongtianzhai Scenic Area, the Jiuzhai Hot Spring Scenic Area, and the Dashē Rural Tourism Demonstration Village. The area’s regional culture mainly features Hakka culture, intangible cultural heritage, village culture, revolutionary culture, and Buddhist culture. The scenic area is characterized by five highlights: being the “hometown of lotus,” with prominent lotus biological landscapes; striking danxia landforms and cracked earth formations; canyon hot springs rich in wellness culture; vibrant intangible heritage of lantern art and folk traditions; and its location at the source of the Gan River, offering superior ecological conditions.
