Shicheng Martyrs' Memorial Hall is a classic red tourism destination.

Shicheng Martyrs' Memorial Hall is located in Lilaishi Forest Park, Shicheng County. Shicheng was an important part of the Central Revolutionary Base during the Second Revolutionary Civil War, the core area of the Central Soviet Area, one of the 21 fully Red counties of the Central Soviet Area, and the departure point of the Long March of the Central Red Army. Veteran revolutionaries such as Mao Zedong and Zhou Enlai once fought and lived here. Under the leadership of the Communist Party of China, the people of Shicheng established a revolutionary government, with 33,000 joining the revolution, 19,000 joining the Red Army, and 16,000 of them participating in the Long March. In April 1934, after the failure of the Guangchang Defense Battle and the Fifth Counter-Encirclement Campaign, Peng Dehuai led 30,000 troops to block the attack of 100,000 Nationalist soldiers north of Shicheng. After 12 days of fierce fighting, they achieved a complete victory. This battle won precious time for the strategic relocation of the Central Soviet organs and the main forces of the Central Red Army. To commemorate the martyrs who sacrificed their lives, the memorial hall was first built in 1956 and relocated to the Shicheng Blocking Battle Memorial Park within Lilaishi Forest Park in 2009. The memorial hall is a provincial-level protected martyr memorial facility in Jiangxi Province.
