Zhanguan Pine Needle Tea

It earns its name from its tightly rolled, straight, slender, and pine needle-like appearance. The tea has a refreshing and long-lasting aroma, clear infusion, and bright tender green leaf base. Harvested around Grain Rain, it is made from the first tender one-bud-one-leaf and one-bud-two-leaf shoots. The shoots are 3 to 3.5 centimeters long and uniform in size. In 1985, at the Chaohu Region Famous and High-Quality Teas Evaluation, Zhanguan Pine Needle Tea won the Special Prize. In 1987, Volume 2 of China Tea Journal published an article on the picking and processing techniques of Zhanguan Pine Needle Tea. The main production areas include tea farms such as Changshan, Liuwu, and Guantang. In 1988, the tea farm produced 4,000 kilograms of dried tea.
