The "Beauty's Lean" Ancient Residential House is a protected cultural heritage site of Ma'anshan.

"Beauty's Lean" Ancient Residential House: Located at No. 38, West Street, Caichuan Community, Yuncao Town, Hanshan County. It dates back to the Qing Dynasty.

On June 5, 2015, the "Beauty's Lean" Ancient Residential House was announced as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Ma'anshan.

Protection zone: 3 meters outside the structure itself; construction control zone: 10 meters outside the structure itself.

Yuncao Town: Yuncao Town was established during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, nearly 1,500 years ago. Around the year 530 AD, Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasties sent the former Wei Dynasty general Hou Jing to lead troops across the river to develop this previously barren land, naming it “Liaohuazhou.” During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Cao led his army in a campaign against Wu and stationed troops here. To facilitate military operations and the transport of supplies, he ordered the digging of the Cao River. In the Chenghua era of the Ming Dynasty, the name of the town evolved from that of the river.
