The Li Hongzhang Pawnshop is a cultural heritage protection unit in Ma'anshan.

Li Hongzhang Pawnshop: Located on West Street, Yuncao Town, Hanshan County. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

On June 5, 2015, the Li Hongzhang Pawnshop was announced as part of the fifth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Ma'anshan.

Yuncao Town: Yuncao Town was first established during the Northern and Southern Dynasties, with a history of nearly 1,500 years. Around the year 530 AD, Emperor Wu of the Liang Dynasty of the Southern Dynasties sent General Hou Jing of the Eastern Wei to lead troops across the river and develop this barren land, naming it “Liaohuazhou.” During the Three Kingdoms period, Cao Cao led his army to attack the Kingdom of Wu and stationed troops here. To facilitate military operations and grain transport, he ordered the digging of the Cao River. During the Chenghua era of the Ming Dynasty, the town took its name from the river.
