He Gongfang Ancestral Hall

He Gongfang Ancestral Hall is a cultural relic protection unit of Xiangshan County.

He Gongfang Ancestral Hall is located in the northeast corner of Ruyayang Village, Xizhou Town, Xiangshan County. Also known as "Chengzhi Hall" or the "New Ancestral Hall," it was built in the 1890s. The original rockery, stone bridge, pavilion, and library within the hall complex have all been destroyed, leaving only the main ancestral hall structure intact. The central axis layout includes the main gate, playground, ancestral hall pond, entrance hall, courtyard, and main hall. Both sides of the entrance hall and main hall feature side rooms, while wing rooms are built along both sides of the courtyard. Small courtyards are situated between the wing rooms and side rooms. The architectural style is influenced to some extent by Western design elements. This ancestral hall is the largest in size and occupies the most land among all surviving ancestral halls in the county. It was designated as the sixth batch of Xiangshan County-level cultural relic protection units on October 30, 2007.
