Hike up the mountain while enjoying music — free guided tours take you around Elephant Mountain

The Department of Urban Development of Taipei City Government will host an ecological guided tour event on Elephant Mountain Hiking Trail on June 13. Registration begins on May 29 and is available on a first-come, first-served basis. The department stated that the ecological guided tour on Elephant Mountain Hiking Trail will start at 8:00 a.m., with participants meeting at Elephant Mountain MRT Station. In small groups, they will follow the trail interpreters to explore the ecology and geographical landscapes along the way. This year’s event continues last year’s highly acclaimed trail concert, filling the forest with music.

Xia Xiantong, head of the Roads and Trails Section at the department, pointed out that this is a very convenient loop trail. Starting from Elephant Mountain MRT Station, it passes through Zhongqiang Park, Six Huge Rocks, the Photography Platform, One-Line Sky, Giant Rock Park, the Limestone Garden, and the Elephant Imagery Wall on the City Therapy Trail, before returning to Elephant Mountain MRT Station.
