Known as the "Number One Fishing Ground in Asia," the Yushan Islands are located 27 nautical miles southeast of Shipu. The area features scattered islets and reefs with crystal-clear waters. Situated at the convergence of northern and southern ocean currents, the islands boast abundant resources of fish, shellfish, and seaweed. A voyage of about 25 nautical miles southeast from Shipu, Xiangshan County, Zhejiang Province, will bring you to the most southeastern island of Xiangshan and the location of China's territorial sea baseline — the Yushan Islands. The Yushan Islands consist of South Yushan and North Yushan, with the commonly referred to Yushan generally meaning North Yushan.
