Tantou Mountain Island is located between the Damuyang and Maotouyang bays on the Xiangshan Peninsula, covering an area of approximately 11 square kilometers with a coastline stretching 50 kilometers. Volcanic eruptions have created undulating mountain peaks across the island, and the lush vegetation adds a wild charm to hiking through the hills.

In the central part of the island, there are two beaches just tens of meters apart—the East Beach facing the East China Sea and the West Beach facing the mainland, hence called the “Sister Beaches.” Both beaches feature fine sand, where visitors can admire the unique spectacle of the “Sand Dike Dragon Well.” At the southernmost tip of the island lies Dawanggong, the largest natural village on Tantou Mountain Island. With its simple and honest local customs, it serves as an ideal spot for visitors to take a break. Whether choosing to stay in a local residence or savoring the fresh seafood, visitors can enjoy a warm, homely experience.

Tantou Mountain Island also offers a variety of beach activities for outdoor enthusiasts, ranging from beach volleyball, beach soccer, and beach kite flying to wave tug-of-war—ensuring all kinds of activities are available. In addition to sightseeing, visitors' personalized needs can be fully met.

8:00–17:00. From November 1 to March 31 of the following year, Tantou Mountain ferry schedules: Weekends – Departure: 8:00, 13:30; Return: 10:30, 14:00, 16:00; Non-weekends – Departure: 13:30; Return: 16:00.
