The Longxiang Rice Terraces in Wuzhen are located at the northwest corner of Zhaoming Academy, in the eastern part of the wetland area. They are named for their shape, which resembles a reclining dragon. Viewed from a high vantage point on the opposite riverbank, the giant dragon appears vividly with its head to the west and tail to the east. Covering an area of 7,500 square meters, the terraces are planted with different crops throughout the four seasons. To the south of the terraces lies Qingeng Bridge, beneath which a clear stream flows gently, ensuring the area is never flooded in summer nor dry in winter, thus enjoying ideal irrigation and drainage conditions.

On the northern slope of the terraces lies a vast field of white chrysanthemums. In golden October, the slopes are covered in blooming chrysanthemums, resembling a sea of flowers that complement the nearby golden rice fields ready for harvest, creating a breathtaking scene.
