Every year, Yunlin County’s Dapu Township presents innovative and memorable flower sea activities. This year, the Yunlin County Government has teamed up with the Dapu Township Farmers’ Association to create a beautiful flower sea in the Hesheili community, set to debut on Valentine’s Day, February 14. Themed “2015 Love for Yunlin – Hokkaido Style,” the event combines local specialties and features six themed zones under the concept of “Secret Recipes for Happiness.” These are enhanced with installation art such as torii gates and cherry blossom trees, evoking a strong Japanese ambiance.

This year’s Yunlin Flower Sea Festival introduces even more creative designs, featuring six themed zones: “Flavor for Warding Off Evil – Garlic,” “Flavor of the Lucky Star – Star Fruit,” “Flavor Guarded by Sunlight – Sunflowers,” “Flavor of Joyful Seeds – Cosmos Flowers,” “Sweet Flavor in Every Grain – Rice,” and “Flavor of Love for Dapu – Dapu Flower Sea.” Guided by the Flower God, visitors can experience these “Secret Recipes for Happiness,” sampling local cuisine and taking part in creative activities.
