Every year, Yunlin County's Dapi Township launches imaginative flower sea events that leave a deep impression. This year, the Yunlin County Government has once again partnered with the Dapi Township Farmers' Association to create a beautiful sea of flowers in the Hesali Community of Dapi. The event will debut on Valentine’s Day, February 14, under the theme “2015 Yunlin in Love: A Taste of Hokkaido.” Combining local specialties, the festival will feature six themed zones titled “Secret Recipes for Happiness,” along with installations such as torii gates and cherry blossom trees to create a strong Japanese ambiance.

This year’s Yunlin Flower Sea Festival introduces even more innovative designs, featuring six themed zones: “The Flavor of Warding Off Evil — Garlic,” “The Flavor of the Lucky Star — Star Fruit,” “The Flavor of Sunlight’s Protection — Sunflowers,” “The Flavor of Joyful Seeds — Cosmos,” “The Sweet Flavor in Every Grain — Rice,” and “The Flavor of Loving Dapi — Dapi Flower Sea.” Guided by the Flower God, visitors can experience these “Secret Recipes for Happiness,” sampling local delicacies and joining creative activities.
