Attraction Introduction

The Fengyuan Double Bridge is located near the entrance of the East Scenic Area. The bridge deck is divided into left and right halves. It is said that there is a custom of men using the left side and women the right, and also a belief that crossing this bridge will bring you success in all endeavors. Standing on the Fengyuan Double Bridge and looking out at Caishen Bay offers an excellent view: weeping willows line the south bank of the East Market River, while riverside pavilions stretch along the north bank, creating a refreshing and delightful scene.

After entering the scenic area gate, crossing this bridge leads you to Dongda Street, the main street of Dongzha, where most of the area’s major attractions are concentrated. There is also a saying about this bridge: “Go left for promotion, go right for wealth.” Whether drawn by one meaning or the other, visitors to Dongzha often make sure to walk across the Fengyuan Double Bridge, sometimes even both sides.

Near the Fengyuan Double Bridge, there are two high-pole boat performances held daily on Caishen Bay. A bamboo pole is erected on the boat, and performers climb to the top to act out movements such as “the monkey fishing for the moon,” which is well worth seeing.

In addition, this bridge is also one of the main scenes in the drama "Like a Flowing River" depicting the subtle emotions between the male and female leads.
