Yichang Smelting Workshop is a traditional workshop in Wuzhen, combining storefront and workshop. The World's Largest Iron Pot has brought it great fame. The architectural structure of Yichang Smelting Workshop is quite unique—all the pillars are carved from stone, locally referred to as "stone-foot houses." This design was intended to prevent sparks from the smelting process from igniting wooden materials and causing fires. In the courtyard stands a giant iron pot, known as the "World's Largest Iron Pot."

The World's Largest Iron Pot is located in the courtyard of Yichang Smelting Workshop within the Xizha Scenic Area. The courtyard gate is open, with a huge iron pot standing in the center. The pot stands 3 meters tall—so large that a child can sit inside it comfortably. The edges of the pot have been polished shiny by visitors' hands and it has become a popular photo spot.

Actually, the location of the giant pot is an iron workshop, with the words “Official Furnace for Pot Smelting” on the walls. Here, you can not only observe the ironware manufacturing process but also purchase pots, bowls, and other kitchenware as souvenirs.
