Dongzha Yu Liuliang Coin Museum
• Explore the vast world of coins—an unmissable destination for collectors.
Attraction Introduction
The Yu Liuliang Coin Museum is situated on Guanqian Street in Dongzha. This small tile-roofed house may appear inconspicuous, but it displays collections of coins and commemorative currency from various countries gathered by Mr. Yu Liuliang over 40 years. Even a brief visit will allow you to catch a glimpse of the immense world of numismatics.
The coins exhibited here include metal currency, paper money, and specialty coins, spanning from the Xia and Shang dynasties to the modern era—covering a full thirty centuries. Each type of coin comes with text explaining its origin, nationality, and cultural history, offering insight into its "story." It's a unique way to learn about world history.
If you’re interested in coin collecting, there are also sets of commemorative coins available for purchase near the exit of the exhibition hall, perfect for taking home as souvenirs.
