Yuanbao Lake in Xizha, Wuzhen
Yuanbao Lake features a vast water area, with an average depth of 2 meters and a maximum depth of 3.5 meters. On the east side of the lake is the Visitor Service Center, which houses a ferry dock for tourists; directly opposite is the Andufang Dock, the first stop for visitors entering the Xizha scenic area.
To the south lies Tong’an Island, shaped like a yuanbao, while the north side of the lake consists of large expanses of pristine sloping land covered with lush vegetation, exuding a wild charm. Adjacent to the North River Mouth that protects the town, there is a wooden boatyard where traditional methods are still used to build wooden boats.
