Xuchangming Art Gallery is located within the West Scenic Area of Wuzhen, showcasing the master's classic works and lifelong collection. Xuchangming was born in December 1929 in Wuzhen, Tongxiang, Zhejiang. He studied in Wuzhen during his childhood and left the town at the age of 17. Starting in 1964, he created large-scale murals and designed various product catalogs for successive “China Fashion Fairs”; in 1972, he won a design award from the American Poming Company; in 1973, he edited several art collections including "Chinese Paintings," "Famous Paintings of Shanghai," and "Chinese Handicrafts"; from 1982 to 1983, he served as the overall designer for the Shanghai Pavilion at international expositions in Yugoslavia and the Philippines, earning awards; in 1993, his works were included in the "50 Years of Chinese Art" published by the Ministry of Culture, and he held multiple solo exhibitions both domestically and internationally. His work "Ode to Spring" is housed in the Ziguang Pavilion in Nanhai. He has successfully held solo exhibitions in countries such as Singapore, Belgium, and the United States.
