Xiaoyingli Site
The Xiaoyingli Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Tongxiang City.
The Xiaoyingli Site is located in Xiaoyingli, Houtang Village, Zhouquan (Wancun), dating back to the Western Zhou, Spring and Autumn, and Warring States periods. It is classified as an ancient site.
On June 9, 1981, the Xiaoyingli Site was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Tongxiang City.
Zhouquan Town: Zhouquan Town is a typical water town on the plains of the Jiangnan region. It is situated in the central part of the Hangjiahu Plain at the southern edge of the Yangtze River Delta alluvial plain. The area features low-lying terrain, crisscrossing rivers and canals, and fertile land. The local climate is mild, with distinct seasons, abundant sunshine, ample rainfall, and rich natural resources. Traditional specialties of Zhouquan include small-lake sheepskin, silk wadding, and freshwater pearls, which are renowned both domestically and internationally.
Zhouquan Town has 53,742 mu of arable land (including 46,248 mu of paddy fields), 16,398 mu of specialized mulberry fields, and 4,339 mu of aquaculture areas.
