Xiejia'Dou Site
The Xiejia'Dou Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Tongxiang City.
The Xiejia'Dou Site is located in Xiejia'Dou Group, Xiaoyuantou Village, Zhouquan Town. It dates back to the Liangzhu, Maqiao, and Shang-Zhou periods, and is classified as an ancient site.
On December 15, 2003, the Xiejia'Dou Site was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Tongxiang City.
Xiaoyuantou Village: Xiaoyuantou Village is situated at the northeast corner of Zhouquan Town, in the western part of Tongxiang City. To the east, it neighbors Gaodun Village of Shimen Town; to the south, it borders Dongtian Village of the same town; to the west, it is adjacent to Censhan Village; and to the north, it lies close to Shilanqiao Village of Heshan Town. The Changshan River runs through the village, providing convenient water and land transportation. It is located 25 kilometers from downtown Tongxiang and belongs to the northern Hangjiahu Plain. The terrain is flat, with an average elevation of 3.2 meters. The village covers a total area of 4.5 square kilometers, with 2,988 mu of arable land, primarily used for growing rice and raising silkworms. The private enterprise sector is relatively developed, mainly focusing on leather shoe production, while other industries such as chemical fiber and plastics are also growing.
