Huanghe Village Site

The Huanghe Village Site is a cultural relics protection unit of Tongxiang City.

The Huanghe Village Site is located in the Huanghe Village group of Xiaoyuantou Village, Zhouquan Town, dating back to the Songze, Liangzhu, and Maqiao periods. It is classified as an ancient site.

On December 15, 2003, the Huanghe Village Site was designated as a cultural relics protection unit of Tongxiang City.

Xiaoyuantou Village: Xiaoyuantou Village is situated at the northeastern corner of Zhouquan Town, in the western part of Tongxiang City. To the east, it neighbors Gaodun Village of Shimen Town; to the south, it borders Dongtian Village of the same town; to the west, it is adjacent to Censhan Village; and to the north, it lies close to Shilanqiao Village of Heshan Town. The Changshan River runs through the village, providing convenient water and land transportation. It is located 25 kilometers from downtown Tongxiang and belongs to the northern Hangjiahu Plain, featuring flat terrain with an average elevation of 3.2 meters. The village covers a total area of 4.5 square kilometers, with 2,988 mu of arable land, primarily used for growing rice and raising silkworms.
