The Site of the Wu Family’s Walled Gate is located at Wujiamen in Qingfeng Village, Tuding Town. Dating back to the Majiabang Culture period, it is classified as an ancient ruin.
On December 15, 2003, the Site of the Wu Family’s Walled Gate was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Tongxiang City.
Tuding Town: Located in the southeastern part of Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province, Tuding Town borders Haining City and Xiuzhou District of Jiaxing. It is one of Zhejiang's strong industrial towns, with its specialty textile (flocking) industry as the leading sector, and is widely known as a hometown of specialty textile (flocking) manufacturing. The town covers a total area of 44.52 square kilometers and has a permanent population of 32,000.
