Wangjianong Site
The Wangjianong Site is a cultural relic protection unit of Tongxiang City.
The Wangjianong Site is located in Heishan Village, Wangjianong Group, Heishan Town, and dates back to the Maqiao Culture, Spring and Autumn, and Warring States periods. It is classified as an ancient site.
On December 15, 2003, the Wangjianong Site was designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Tongxiang City.
Heishan Town: Heishan Town is located in the northwest of Tongxiang City. To the east, it neighbors Shimen Town; to the southwest, it connects with Zhiquan Town; to the west, it borders Xinshi Town of Deqing County, Huzhou City; and to the north, it adjoins Liancheng Town of Huzhou City. The under-construction Shenjiahu (Hangzhou) Expressway will have an exit in Heishan. The town is 120 km from Shanghai and 35 km from Hangzhou. It covers an area of 39.3 square kilometers, with a permanent population of 28,544 and approximately 10,000 migrant residents.
