The remains of the Scholar’s Bridge are a cultural relic protection unit of Tongxiang City.
The remains of the Scholar’s Bridge are located at the Scholar’s Bridge in Yangyuan Village, Longxiang Subdistrict, dating back to the Liangzhu Culture period, and are classified as an ancient site.
On December 15, 2003, the remains of the Scholar’s Bridge were designated as a cultural relic protection unit of Tongxiang City.
Longxiang Subdistrict: Longxiang Subdistrict is the new urban area of Tongxiang City, Zhejiang Province. It is a traditional production base for grain, silkworm breeding, Hangzhou chrysanthemums, and pickled mustard greens. In recent years, it has been actively promoting the adjustment of its agricultural industrial structure, vigorously developing high-efficiency and export-oriented agriculture, and establishing three major distinctive agricultural bases: 4,000 mu of Dongjia water bamboo shoots, 18,000 mu of export vegetables, and 1,600 mu of sun-cured red tobacco.
