Qiangli Relic Site
The Qiangli Relic Site is a cultural heritage conservation unit of Tongxiang City.
The Qiangli Relic Site is located in Qiangli Group, Shuangta Village, Wuzhen Town, Tongxiang City. It dates back to the Liangzhu Culture period and is classified as an ancient relic site.
On September 14, 2010, the Qiangli Relic Site was designated as a cultural heritage conservation unit of Tongxiang City.
Shuangta Village: Shuangta Village was formed in 2000 through the merger of the former Zhongta Village and Xiatata Village. It borders Xin’gang Village of Puyuan Town to the east across a river, faces Xingqi Village of Puyuan Town and Baimadun Village of the same town to the south, connects to Fenshuidun Village to the west, and links to Yanjia Village and Xinweng Village to the north. It is about 18 kilometers from Tongxiang City. The village covers a total area of 3.64 square kilometers, including 1,959 mu of arable land. Currently, it has 14 villager groups, 653 households, and a population of 2,441. Since the demolition that began in November 2012, the six villager groups from the original Zhongta Village area, totaling 1,242 people, have largely been relocated to Sanlitang in Fenshuidun Village due to the construction of the provincial-level LianDu Highway...
