The Abbot's Hall of Fayuan Temple is located within Fayuan Chan Temple in Hexing Village, Fengming Subdistrict, Tongxiang City. Dating back to the Qing Dynasty, it is categorized as an ancient architectural structure.

On September 14, 2010, the Abbot's Hall of Fayuan Temple was designated as a Tongxiang Municipal Cultural Relics Protection Unit.

Hexing Village: Located in the southwestern part of Tongxiang City and the northwest side of Fengming Subdistrict, Hexing Village borders Zhongqun Village to the east, Jiansheng Village to the south, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal to the west, and Shimen Town to the north, with Tongshi Highway running north-south through the area. The thousand-year-old Fayuan Chan Temple is situated in this village. The village covers a total area of 4.55 square kilometers, comprising 33 villager groups, with 1,056 households and a registered population of 3,971. The local industry mainly focuses on light textiles and dyeing, while agriculture centers on grain, sericulture, chrysanthemums, pickled mustard greens, and livestock breeding, with crop farming gradually shifting toward cash crops.
