The former site of Tiaoxi Silk Mill is a cultural heritage site protected by Tongxiang City.
The former site of Tiaoxi Silk Mill is located in Sanjiacun Group, Zhenhaihua Village, Tongxiang City. Dating back to the Republic of China period, it is categorized as a modern historical relic.
On September 14, 2010, the former site of Tiaoxi Silk Mill was designated as a cultural heritage site under the protection of Tongxiang City.
Haihua Village: Haihua Village is situated in the southwest of Tongxiang City. Its history as a water town market dates back to the Tang and Song dynasties, boasting profound historical and cultural heritage. The village preserves well-preserved small bridges, flowing water, ancient trees, historic sites, and traditional customs.
The village covers an area of 3.12 square kilometers, with 28 villager groups, 736 households, a population of over 3,000, more than 1,600 laborers, 3,503 acres of land, and over 648 acres of water area. Agriculture mainly focuses on grain planting, sericulture, and aquaculture, while industry centers around textiles, hardware, and food processing. The tertiary sector is dominated by agritainment and tourism.
