The Yuhuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area is a national water conservancy scenic area.

The Yuhuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area in Yuhuan County is situated close to the vast bay of Yueqing Bay in Zhejiang Province. It was developed based on the Xuanmen Phase II Freshwater Storage and Land Reclamation Project and a distinctive agricultural sightseeing park.

The Yuhuan Water Conservancy Scenic Area features picturesque scenery, a superior ecological environment, and unique engineering landscapes. With its over 7,000-meter-long coastal dike stretching east to west, it separates the lake from the sea. Tidal flats, wetlands, small islands, and woodlands complement one another. The area has abundant natural resources where freshwater and marine organisms coexist, making it one of the largest habitats for the endangered black-faced spoonbill in China. The agricultural sightseeing park, built upon the cultivation area of the “Yuhuan Pomelo”—one of China’s three most famous pomelo varieties—has become a green emblem of Yuhuan County.
