The Inscribed Poem of Imperial Favor on Cliff Face is a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province.

The Inscribed Poem of Imperial Favor on Cliff Face is located in Lupu Town, Yuhuan County, dating back to the Qing Dynasty.

The Inscribed Poem of Imperial Favor on Cliff Face is located near the northern entrance of a tunnel north of the Yuhuan Expressway exit. Carved in the 26th year of the Daoguang reign (1846), it consists of 270 characters, with a small portion illegible. This inscription is also a provincial-level key cultural relic protection site and is the only cliff carving in Yuhuan.

The “Inscribed Poem of Imperial Favor” cliff carving is approximately 2 meters wide and 3 meters high. Carved in December of the 26th year of the Daoguang reign (1846), it features regular script calligraphy. The entire poem contains 270 characters and is a long five-character verse. Originally, Xu Rong, the newly appointed Yuhuan magistrate, was summoned by the emperor before taking office. After assuming his post, he documented the details of the imperial audience, as well as the local customs and natural economy of Yuhuan, in this poem, which was then engraved on the cliff face. This cliff-carved poem holds significant value for the study of the development of maritime islands in southern Zhejiang, geographical features, as well as the geographic landscape and people's living customs in Yuhuan during the Daoguang era of the Qing Dynasty.

On January 7, 2011, it was announced as part of the sixth batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relic Protection Units.

Lupu Town: Recently, Lupu Town established a “Blue Project” offshore Party branch at the aquaculture cage base in Yueqing Bay. Nearly a hundred cage farming households were organized into four groups, each connected by one Party member. The establishment of this Party branch enables Party members from neighboring Wenling County and from urban areas, Shamen, Qinggang, and Lupu within the county to carry out regular organizational activities at sea. At the same time, it standardizes orderly competition among cage farmers, facilitates mutual sharing of technology and market information, achieves resource sharing in science and information, and promotes vigorous development of the aquaculture industry.
