The Cliff Inscription of the "Sacred Teachings Poem" is located in Yucheng Subdistrict, Yuhuan County, dating back to 1921.

On January 13, 2017, it was designated as part of the Seventh Batch of Zhejiang Provincial Cultural Relics Protection Units by the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province.

Yucheng Subdistrict: Yucheng Subdistrict is located at the center of Yuhuan County. To the east, it faces the Xuanmen Sea, across from GANJIANG Town and JISHAN Township; to the southeast, it connects with KANMEN Subdistrict; to the southwest, it borders Damaiyu Subdistrict; to the west, it nestles by Yueqing Bay; and to the north, it links to Lupu Town. It covers an area of 65.92 square kilometers. The subdistrict office is located at No. 132 Guangling Road, Chengguan, overseeing 61 administrative villages, 9 communities, and a population of 86,000.

Before the Qing Dynasty, Yucheng Subdistrict was part of Yueqing territory.
