Niutou Mountain Lake
Introduction: Located 12 kilometers from downtown Linhai, it is one of the three major reservoirs in Zhejiang Province, completed in 1989. The reservoir features a vast expanse of calm water, surrounded by mountain scenery. Along the shoreline, deep valleys and secluded gullies are dotted with peculiar rocks and cliffs. Attractions such as Nanao, Longtan Pit, and Yang’ao each have their own unique charm. The Bai zhang Qing Mountain Valley is steep, with several cascading waterfalls connected in sequence — some reaching dozens of zhang in height, others just one or two zhang, resembling layers of folded green silk. The Niutou Mountain Resort is built along the contours of the mountain, with winding corridors connecting various spots, and the deep valleys and plunging waterfalls offer a rich sense of wild mountain charm.
