The Most Scenic Coastal Railway Gem: Badouzi Station Opens

Northern Taiwan has a new photogenic spot. To boost tourism, Taiwan Railways reconstructed Badouzi Station, making it the new terminus of the Shen’ao Branch Line, which opened in early December. Here lies the most beautiful coastal railway line, offering sweeping views of the endless shoreline—comparable to Taiwan’s most picturesque Tarama Station—and transforming into the latest hotspot for photos along the North Coast.

In addition to renovating the old platform on the mountain side, Badouzi Station will build an 80-meter-long scenic platform facing the sea, allowing passengers to take in the stunning sea-and-sky horizon.
