Jiangnan Grand Canyon is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.
Jiangnan Grand Canyon is located in Youxi Town, 12 km southwest of Linhai City, Zhejiang Province, situated in the central-eastern part of Zhejiang. With well-developed transportation, visitors from anywhere within a 300 km radius of Zhejiang can reach it within a day. The canyon stretches 35 km in depth, with altitudes along the route ranging from 300 m to 1200 m, rising in terraces. The area boasts beautiful mountains, dense forests, uniquely shaped rock formations, and a pleasant climate. There are numerous scenic waterfalls, cliffs, and caves, as well as vast bamboo forests and fruit orchards scattered throughout the valley. Notable tree species such as the southern yew and golden larch add to the scenic charm. The entire scenic area combines tranquility, seclusion, and wonder, integrating waterfalls, streams, and forests in one location. The Jiangnan Grand Canyon Military Adventure Rafting project is the first military-themed adventure rafting experience in the Yangtze River Delta region. This project aims to reinterpret the concept of adventure rafting in the region by offering high levels of participation, minimal restrictions on tourist activities, and a fully immersive theme. It showcases the new trend of eco-tourism and leads the way in leisure travel innovation.
The Jiangnan Grand Canyon Military Adventure Rafting course spans 6.8 km, with a total elevation drop of 138 m, featuring over 50 thrilling rapids. The largest single rapid drop reaches up to 10 m, providing a continuous and exhilarating water journey. In addition, the rafting course utilizes China’s most advanced self-bailing two-person inflatable rafts — a first for the Yangtze River Delta region. Our goal is to establish Jiangnan Grand Canyon as a coexisting eco-tourism destination where adventure rafting and folk culture thrive together, creating a top-tier adventure rafting and leisure tourism destination for people in the Yangtze River Delta.
The Jiangnan Grand Canyon Military Rafting is themed around military adventure and represents the first military-themed rafting experience in the Yangtze River Delta. The course is 6.8 km long with a total elevation drop of 183 m and individual rapids reaching drops of 10 m. It is divided into two types: Military Adventure Rafting and Military Leisure Rafting.
