Lianquan Xianggu Natural Scenic Area

Lianquan Xianggu Natural Scenic Area is located at the foot of the Great Wall in the northwestern part of Huairou District, Beijing, in front of Heituo Mountain. It lies about 80 kilometers from Beijing. The scenic area features landscapes shaped by valleys, framed by mountains, enlivened by water, and enriched by human interaction—boasting beautiful scenery and unique views. It is an ideal destination for sightseeing, leisure, and vacation.

The valley is home to uniquely shaped and majestic mountains, with waterfalls cascading from the sky, flowing streams, and year-round murmuring springs amid birdsong and floral fragrances—thus earning the name “Lianquan Xianggu” (Resounding Valley of Springs). The scenic area features a naturally charming white marble path and includes dozens of attractions such as Tian Gong Cave, Owl Mountain, Three Pools and Two Waterfalls, Reed Marsh Valley, May Glacier, Turtle Carrying the World, Yanqi Source, primeval secondary forest, rainbow trout fishing park, and Questioning-the-Sky Platform.

The scenic area is fully equipped with service facilities, including courtyard-style wooden cabins, restaurants, a souvenir shop, Spring Water Valley, and karaoke services.
