Dragon Dream Wonderland Natural Scenic Area is located at the northern foot of Yunmeng Mountain in Huairou. Here, you’ll find rugged peaks often shrouded in mist, resembling a fairyland; towering waterfalls and oddly shaped rocks; and the meandering Baihe Canyon, which alternates between calm and rapid flows over a stretch of 100 li. The Baihe Canyon, shaped by the mountain terrain, along with the Guanting Gorge of the Yongding River and the Juma River Gorge, is known as one of the “Three Great Canyons of the Capital.” With its abundant waters, unique landforms, and especially the surrounding towering mountains, lush pines, wildflowers, and blue skies, the canyon offers ideal conditions for rafting. By Car: Take the Huairou exit (Exit 14) of the Beijing-Chengde Expressway —> Huidu Road (overpass) —> Exit to Jingjia Road —> Drive 25 km north via Yanqi Lake (at the 84 km milestone on Jingjia Road), turn right and drive 6 km to reach the destination. Please follow the signs.
By Bus:: Take bus 916 to Nanhuan Gas Station (Nanhua Yuan Sanqu), cross the street and transfer to bus 862 (outer loop) to Yujia Yuan Station, then transfer to the bus marked (Huairou–Dongyu) and get off at the final stop, Dragon Dream Wonderland Restaurant. Walk 100 meters forward to the scenic area entrance.
Bus Route:Bus departure times from Dongyu: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. Buses depart from Yujia Yuan at 8:30 AM and 2:30 PM.
:Take the bus from Yujia Yuan to Tanghekou via Huairou, get off at Baichazi, which is the bus stop closest to the scenic area. It is still six kilometers from the scenic area—you can choose to walk or take a taxi to reach the site.
:Self-driving route:Take Exit 15 (Yangyan Road Exit) of the Beijing-Chengde Expressway. After exiting, follow Yangyan Road all the way north. Turn left at the last traffic light, heading toward Yanqi Lake (on Jingjia Road). Pass through two tunnels. About 10 minutes after the second long tunnel, turn right at the sign for Yunmeng Xianjing and drive six kilometers to reach the scenic area.
