The Linlong Mountain Scenic Area is located within Huanghua City, Huairou, about 66 km from Beijing and 40 km from downtown Huairou. “Evening clouds over the ancient town of Huanghua City” — Huanghua City has long been a military stronghold along the Great Wall. Here, mountains stand in layered barriers, watchtowers dot the ridges, peaks tower above dense forests, and streams surge through perilous paths. Ancient poets once wrote: “Boundless yellow clouds over the strategic Two-Hundred Passes, the misty woods of the Nine Mausoleums blend with the surrounding mountains,” and “Water gushes from the stone bridge’s break, streams swallow the tilted mountain walls.” Towering and steep, Linlong Mountain stands right at the head of these ranges.

Linlong Mountain Villa can accommodate up to 100 people for meals and lodging, offering rustic farmhouse dishes, bonfire parties, and whole roasted lamb.

Linlong Mountain is mysterious and full of wonder. The scenic area not only features naturally formed “Divine Talisman Cliff” and “Divine Character Stone,” but also uniquely shaped formations such as “General Peak,” “Nine Falcon Sons Peak,” “Dharma Stone,” “Divine Horse Stone,” and “Camel Peak.” Each is vividly lifelike and steeped in fascinating legends that captivate the imagination. Even the most discerning observers are left puzzled by how nature could have shaped them so uniquely.

The scenic area also includes “Zhongtian Pool” and “Crouching Tiger Pool,” which resemble precious mirrors hidden in the deep mountains, reflecting the sky and sun, serene and radiant. There is also the “Lion Head Waterfall,” with a drop of 66 meters, whose view resembles a Milky Way pouring from the heavens, and whose sound is like jade beads dropping onto a plate.
