Goose and Duck Farm is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Goose and Duck Farm is located in the picturesque and pleasant surroundings of western Huairou, nestled between the inner and outer lakes of the Huairou Reservoir on the outer lake side. It borders Beizhai Village in Qiaozhi Town to the north, surrounded by towering mountains on three sides in the distance and a hill on the southwest at close range, with the Huaijiu River flowing through it. Covering an area of over 2,000 acres.

The farm is open all year round, with each season offering distinctive features. Most of the farm’s area is covered with woods and orchards. Towering poplar trees line both banks of the river, while lush forests cover the mountains and valleys. The orchards include pear, peach, apple, plum, and apricot gardens. In the fragrant spring, tree planting and fruit blossom viewing are the main activities. The saplings growing vigorously in the spring breeze and the blooming fruit trees throughout the garden are all planted by visitors themselves, adding a touch of green to nature. In the hot summer, the cool river water ripples, the trees provide ample shade, and visitors cool off and play in the outdoor pool. In the fruitful autumn, guests can enjoy the fun of picking fruit and tasting the fruits of their labor. In the snowy winter, building snowmen, having snowball fights, and enjoying hearty farmhouse meals can evoke fond childhood memories.

In addition to fruit seedling planting, flower appreciation, and fruit picking in the orchards, the farm has also built three agricultural greenhouses growing various types of fungi such as mushrooms, ganoderma, and wood ear mushrooms. Visitors can not only sightsee and learn related knowledge but also pick fresh produce. The farm will continue to increase and diversify its offerings based on visitor demand.

The farm offers a rich variety of recreational activities, including dozens of fitness options loved by adults such as horseback riding, archery, swimming, go-karting, paintball, bumper cars, bumper boats, mini-golf, basketball, volleyball, and tennis, as well as activities enjoyed by children like trampolines and electric toy trains.

The farm has two accommodation areas with nearly 200 guest rooms and over 400 beds. A variety of room styles, including forest cabins and riverside villas, are available in rows and clusters, suitable for all types of domestic and international tourists.

The dining options feature both Chinese and Western styles. Hearty farmhouse meals, authentic Western-style buffet barbecues, and special dishes such as whole roasted lamb, whole roasted pig, and rainbow trout cater to the diverse culinary preferences of both Chinese and foreign visitors.

The vast and lush woods on the farm have also become a filming location for various TV dramas and movies, such as recent productions like “The Beauty of the River and Mountain,” “Princess Pearl 3,” “Shaolin Temple,” “New Fong Sai Yuk,” and “My Own Swordsman.” The number of film crews coming here has been increasing year by year. Goose and Duck Farm is committed to further developing its role as a filming base, combining tourism to offer visitors a more comprehensive sightseeing and experiential travel experience.

Qiaozhi Town: Located in the southwestern part of Huairou District, 4 kilometers from the urban area, Qiaozhi Town covers an area of 60.04 square kilometers. It governs 14 administrative villages with a total population of 11,000.
