Destination Introduction

Blue Sky Ranch is located in Beitaishang Village, Yanqi Town, 7 kilometers north of Huairou County and 58 kilometers from downtown Beijing. It neighbors Hongluo Temple to the south and Yanqi Lake to the north, serving as a comprehensive tourist area integrating travel, sightseeing, and vacation.

The site now features an entertainment and horse racing field with a kilometer-long track; a water play area; a sightseeing zone; a pick-your-own orchard; and a colorful vacation area. The entertainment and horse racing field spans over a hundred acres and includes a tent area, a bonfire barbecue zone, and an archery hunting ground. Mounting a galloping steed and riding across the open land, or drawing a bow and taking aim, will allow you to showcase the spirit of a knight and fully enjoy the thrill of the hunt. The water play area boasts vast waters, with the most exhilarating activity being a kilometer-long rafting experience.

The sightseeing area comprises the Prince’s Ranch Sightseeing Zone, Agricultural Science Popularization Sightseeing Zone, and Fulong Mountain Sightseeing Zone. The Prince’s Ranch offers boundless forested grasslands, allowing you to experience the beauty and vastness of the great plains right on the outskirts of Beijing. The Agricultural Science Popularization Sightseeing Zone cultivates a variety of crops, providing educational opportunities for elementary and middle school students while also allowing visitors to harvest their own produce for barbecues. Fulong Mountain is covered with dense pine and cypress forests, offering cool shade and making it an ideal spot for hiking and sightseeing. Major scenic areas include the Fulong Mountain Sightseeing Zone, Qi Lake Sightseeing Zone, Prince’s Ranch Sightseeing Zone, Agricultural Science Popularization Sightseeing Zone, Orchard Viewing and Picking Zone, Water Play Area, Sports and Entertainment Zone, and Dining and Accommodation Zone. Here, you can mount a galloping horse and showcase your knightly spirit; hop on a rubber raft to enjoy the leisure of drifting; breathe in the fresh air of nature; pick a variety of fruits in the orchard; dig up sweet potatoes, peanuts, and corn in the fields to experience the joy of harvest.

Transportation Information: Take Bus 936 from Dongzhimen and get off at Beitai, then walk 300 meters west. By car, take the Jing-Shun Road from Sanyuanqiao to Huairou, follow the Huai-Feng Highway to Beitaishang Village in Yanqi Town, turn left, then walk 300 meters west.
