Zhuangdaokou Village

Zhuangdaokou Village is located in Jiuduhé Town, Huairou District, Beijing. The village has 110 households and a population of 305. It sits by the Huaijiu River and is backed by the ancient Ming Dynasty Great Wall. It is just 2 kilometers away from the Huanghuacheng Water Great Wall scenic area. The area boasts beautiful surroundings with lush mountains and clear waters. The famous Great Wall pass “Zhenlu Pass” is situated just 500 meters north of the village. Zhuangdaokou Village makes full use of its ancient Great Wall pass, the Dragon and Phoenix Pines, as well as its long history, rich culture, and beautiful natural environment to vigorously develop folk culture and customs. Currently, 40 households in the village have developed folk tourism businesses, including 19 officially designated folk tourism households at the district level. Folk tourism has become a leading industry for the village’s economic development, enriching local farmers and increasing their income.
