Sankeishi Dizang Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

The historic Sankeishi Mountain Scenic Area is located in Dagou Township, Sujiatun District, Shenyang. On the mountain stands an ancient temple called Dizang Temple, which is one of the main attractions of the Sankeishi area.

Dizang Temple covers an area of 1,500 square meters, with stone walls over ten feet high. The entire hall is constructed from blue bricks and small tiles, featuring carved beams and painted rafters, giving it a magnificent and resplendent appearance. Facing south and situated atop the peak of Sankeishi Mountain, the temple boasts an extraordinary presence. Built during the Kaiyuan era of the Tang Dynasty by Emperor Taizong Li Shimin, who ordered General Yu Chijing to construct it while on his eastern campaign, the temple has enjoyed uninterrupted incense offerings to this day. After restorations during the Song Dynasty and the Republic of China, a rear hall was also added. Today, this millennia-old ancient temple still fills the air with the scent of incense, accompanied by the continuous chanting of sutras.

Legend has it that at the summit of Sankeishi Mountain, there were originally three massive rocks of varying sizes lined up in a row, standing abruptly tall like solemn guardians protecting the mountain. The slopes were covered with lush vegetation, and the fragrance of locust blossoms filled the air, resembling a paradise on earth. Despite the changes of time, Sankeishi Mountain still stands majestically today, showcasing its beautiful scenery to visitors.
