The Lin Hotel Taichung Opens; Just a 10-Minute Walk to the National Taichung Theater

The 25-story"Lin Hotel"grandly opened on the 21st. The hotel is located near iconic attractions such as the National Taichung Theater and Qiuhong Valley Park. Invested in by the Linyuan Wedding Travel Group, the hotel took 10 years of preparation and 3.5 billion NTD to build. It is situated on Chaofu Road in West District and began trial operations in January 2015.

Taichung Mayor Lin Chia-lung stated that the city government has planned a film promotion district in the Shuins Economic and Trade Park in West District, and is preparing to establish the first phase of a film and television base in Wufeng District, aiming to make Taichung the hub of Taiwan’s film and television industry. The completion of the Lin Hotel perfectly welcomes the arrival of a new era for Taichung, injecting new vitality into the city’s tourism.

Lin Xiejian, Chairman of the Lin Hotel,pointed out that the Lin Hotel has 25 floors and a total of 309 luxury guest rooms. Facilities inside include a restaurant with a 700-seat forest seafood buffet and various luxurious banquet and conference halls.

On the rooftop, there is a"Highlight King's Palace"covering an area of 408 ping, which includes 5 guest rooms as well as an outdoor swimming pool, an AV room, a library, bodyguard rooms, secretary rooms, and more. Guests can enjoy a 360-degree view of the city, mountains, and highways. However, the stay is not cheap, costing 1 million NTD per night and is only available to members.
